it is called a changing currency exchange rate which was explained in the dev forum.

when the exchange rate was reversed some time back you got the bargain prices

Strange. Why don't Europeans simply order their games from American websites? Do they not ship overseas?

I guess the shipping would be expensive... but a €20 difference?

Even with exchange rate of 1:1.4, we still need to pay £50 * 1.4 = $70. and 1:1.4 is a pretty low exhange rate.

Well hopefully they get it right this time. My local futureshop has like 4 factions CE's sitting on the shelf, with undoubtedly tons more sitting in the back or at the main warehouse. ANET dropped the ball with the factions CE ordering not enough for the initial demand and by the time they made more, the demand plummetted due to people just dumping CE for the regular version. So I'm sure they'll have it all figured out this time...... maybe.

I'm assuming you're referring to ArenaNet, as NCSoft is a South Korean company. At any rate, I'm not sure at what level things like pricing is set.

i got bored of waiting for my CE... wont make that mistake again... If its delayed a week, then fine.. but Im pre-ordering ASAP so hopefully ill be near the front of the line....

I think in most cases, tho- people that got the CE from a store rather than Amazon, etc were the ones to actually have the game when they were supposed to... that way even when its released you dont wait for shipping

I'll get the collector edition again (if there is one). So far no words yet on if CE even exist othe than the confirmed regular edition of Nightfall.

It is possible stack auras from both CEs. Type /Dance and then /DanceNew and you'll have both auras, for anyone that doesn't know.

Yes, my mistake about that. I don't even have the Factions CE...

I'm imagining we'll get the ST again, since we did for the first two, and honestly for me that is the biggest draw card.

Beware of that I've heard stories about not being able to "upgrade" to the CE from EBgames when you do a pre-order like this.

I actually have no idea what I'm talking about, since we don't know how much the CE costs, and I don't know how much they'll charge overseas anyway, it's impossible for me to say how much the CE will cost in Holland.

Yeah I can see this maybe being delayed like the other two, but maybe not. I just hope that they actually get them in the retail stores like EB or Best Buy (and I don’t mean the online stuff). Last time all I could pre-order was the standard edition and not its counterpart. However I could have ordered the CE online from EB, but I really did not want to hassle with online ordering (and still don’t). Finally about a month or two later I was able to get it from Fry’s and no one else for its standard running price of $69.99.
